Situated between the Place Vendôme and the Jardin des Tuileries, the Hotel du Continent can certainly rejoice (and even take a modicum of quiet pride!) in its particularly wonderful location, which will suit lovers of beautiful monuments as well as fans of fine food... Or even shopaholics.

 

The very chic 1st arrondissement

The Tuileries, the Rue Saint-Honoré, the Palais Royal, the Louvre Museum, and the Rue des Pyramides are all iconic, chic and historic Parisian attractions found in the 1st arrondissement. Splendid mansions stand sentinel over royal squares, while luxury shops and fine jewellers can be found in the elegant Place des Victoires and the unmissable Place Vendôme. Going a little further from the hotel, you can quickly reach the Forum des Halles shopping mall and its magnificent new Canopée, inaugurated in 2016.

In addition to the very luxurious boutiques and emporia on the Rue Saint-Honoré, Place Vendôme and Avenue Montaigne, shoppers will find much to keep them happy in the nearby department stores (Printemps Haussmann, Galeries Lafayette...), the charming bookstores (Delamain, for example, in the Place du Palais Royal), the shops on the Rue Sainte-Anne or Avenue de l'Opera. The Louvre Museum is a must-see, of course, but the Orangery, Decorative Arts, and Fashion museums all offer cultural experiences not to be missed.
