If you imagine some hastily erected stalls selling dusty second-hand goods from local attics, you've got it all wrong! Despite the flea market connotations of the name, the Puces du Design is actually an ultra-sharp vintage and contemporary design trade fair that appeals to all lovers of beauty, whether their interest is professional or personal.
The Puces du Design, Porte de Versailles
Born around the Passage du Grand Cerf in May 1999, the Puces du Design has in 20 years become a major event in the design world, with followers in many countries. Dedicated to the design of the 50s up to about the year 2000, it offers a thorough reflection on aesthetics, design styles and market developments. Dealers and exhibitors from all over the world gather to show superb pieces created by the design icons of the second half of the 20th century.
Three themed villages to visit
The show is organised into three themed villages, each having its own strong identity. The village of vintage design is undoubtedly the heart of the event, with its unique and certified pieces. The second is dedicated to contemporary design and its links and synergies with vintage creativity. The last village is dedicated to fashion and vintage accessories and also presents original pieces.
The Puces du Design / Design Fair Paris will take place from April 11th to 14th at the Porte de Versailles Exhibition Centre, just twenty minutes away via Metro from your Hotel du Continent!
